Tips for moving out on your own at 20 years old?

This past weekend has helped me to realize how ready I am to move out my parents house. I am 20 years old, I am enrolled in a LPN program part-time and working part time as a telemarketer making 13/hr and I have my own car. I want to get my own apartment & own furniture. Im just not sure where to start, ive been looking on craigslist for apartments and found a few I want to look at, however where do I go to get my own furniture.? I am giving myself around a month and a half to move out, is that enough time.? Any suggestions will do, thanks in advance :-)
