Is telemarketing a fun job?

I am looking into getting a part-time job at this insurance company where I would just call people and ask how they feel about the insurance they have. It's not technically telemarketing because they have already bought the insurance that I'm asking about but I'm still just calling people and bugging them. Now I only want serious answer because I know telemarketers are annoying and all of that but the job pays 4 dollars more than I make now with flexible scheduling so it's hard to resist so has anyone had jobs like these where they can give tips or reviews about?
