Why do telemarketers call at the worst times?

Always tell a telemarketer that you are very interested in their product. BUT may you have their home phone number so that you might call back around 6 or 7 that evening during dinner to discuss their product. This seem to put them off a bit as i have found. I think they think I'm crazy.
