How can i stop lovin' this dude??!!?

Reading the first paragraph, I like to think I've cracked the answer for you. It got me confused when he decided to not be friends anymore, then for no reason say sorry. Sounds like he's testing you to see what your reaction was. Then, im guessing that you never did anything to win him back, and so he couldn't stand that and apologised because he couldn't stand not being your friend. Please do not get excited as this is only a theory, not an answer.
